さて、今回の東京発のニュースは、現在水戸芸術館で開催されている「新次元 マンガ表現の現在」展のレポートです！
So today, my report is about Manga exhibition now showing at Art Tower Mito .
「新次元 マンガ表現の現在」展 “Manga Realities: Exploring the Art of Japanese Comics Today”
2010年8月14日（土）～9月26日（日） ／ August 14 - September 26, 2010
水戸芸術館現代美術ギャラリー ／ Art Tower Mito Contemporary Art Gallery
今回の「新次元」展は、2000年以降に話題になった９作品を取り上げ、
同時代のマンガ／マンガ家を紹介する展覧会になっています。
映画化されて話題になっている『BECK』（ハロルド作石）、
皆さんもご存知の『のだめカンタービレ』（二ノ宮知子）、
他にも『ソラニン』（浅野いにお）、『シュガシュガルーン』（安野モヨコ）などなど…
おもわず「読んだことある～」と話したくなる作品ばかり。
This exhibition explores the world of Manga after 2000, and presents 9 works of 9 Manga artists.
The works are for example... Nodame Cantabile (Kodansha, 2001-2010) by Ninomiya Tomoko, Sugar Sugar Rune (Kodansha, 2003-2007) by Anno Moyoco.
この展覧会、国際交流基金が主催し、海外で開催するために作られたものですが、
まずは水戸芸術館でお披露目されています（国内では水戸芸術館だけです！）。
12月からは韓国のアートソンジェセンターでの開催が決まっています。
ちなみに、このマンガ展に関する特集を、をちこちMagazine11月号で掲載予定です！！
今週、そのインタビュー収録に行ってきました！
芸術館へ向かう道すがら、バスの窓からも、
街中のいろいろな場所に展覧会のポスターが張られていました！
どんな話になったのか…？それは11月のお楽しみです！
After Mito, the exhibition will tour overseas starting from Seoul, Korea in December 2010.
We are planning to make article on this exhibition on our online magazine (in Japanese),
so this week I went to record the talk at the museum!On the way to the museum, I found posters of the show everywhere!

こちらはオープニングのレセプションにて。
左から、企画を担当したキュレーターの高橋瑞木さん、
『センネン画報』が大ヒットした、話題の今日マチ子さん！
読みながら展示を回る「ガイドマンガ」を担当した、漫画家の谷田知彦さん、
そして空間構成を担当したgm projectsの豊嶋秀樹さん。
This is from the opening reception - from left, Takahashi san, curator of the show,
Kyo Machiko san, manga artist of Sennen Gaho (Ohta Publishing Company, 2008-),
Tanida Tomohiko san, also manga artist who was the author of the Guide manga of the exhibition,
and Toyoshima san, the exhibition designer.
