子供日本語講座＆日本の秋2010！

人の身体というものは、実は一番表現力豊かなんですね！言葉では言い表せないものも、時には身体で表現することができる。舞踏に夢中なカティアさんの熱心さがはっきりと伝わってきます。

Nyaha, thank you for your wonderful entry! Human body is indeed the best instrument to express yourself. It was a delight to learn about Katya and Buto.

　

さてさて、また順番が回ってきました！モスクワのAnyです♪ 　

ニャーハさんの書いたとおり、今年のロシアの夏はまさに「アルマゲドン」並み・・。森林火災、泥炭火災がすさまじく、ひどい時は視界が50m、自動車も真昼間でもライトをつけて走っていました。その際、気温は＋40℃・・・これを生き延びた人は、はっきりいって、もう恐いものなしです(笑)　

So, it's Any from Moscow again! Summer in Russia this year was truly an Armageddon. The smog was SO bad, that sometimes you coulndn't see a thing, cars were running with their lights on even in daylight and the temperature was 40C... I can't believe we survived!(^^)

そんな中、全ロシア国立外国文献図書館「国際交流基金」文化事業部（モスクワ日本文化センター）では、前回お話しした「夏休み企画」が無事終了しました！

香道・風呂敷・墨絵のワークショップ、俳句レクチャー、ドキュメンタリー映画上映会など、様々な催しがありました。家にいることさえ辛かった今年の夏、お客さんはどのイベントにも足を運んでくれました！　

But! Even at hardest and toughest times, our culture department provided many interesting events, such as Furoshiki and Sumie workshops, Haiku lectures and etc. We were very glad to see people actually coming to take part in all the events eventhough it was hard enough just to stay at home.

　

そして先週、「子供日本語講座」という新企画が行われました。8～12歳の、日本語を学んだことのない子供たちを対象とした1時間半の授業が、1週間にわたって5回行われました。しかも先生にはAnyが選ばれてしまい・・何を教えればいいのか一時期パニック状態に陥っていました(笑)　

たったの5日間で外国語を身につけることはまず不可能・・・ということで、「おはようございます・いってきます・私の名前は～です」など、日常的に使う挨拶を覚えてもらうとともに、日本文化に興味をもってもらおうと思いました。

子供たちと一緒に日本の名所を訪れてみたり、季節やお祭りについて話したり、テルテル坊主を作ったり・・。漢字はもちろん、擬音語や外来語もみんな一緒に楽しく研究しました。

ロシア語と日本語は、字も言葉も文法も全く異なる言語同士。小さな子供にとって、「こんにちは」の一言を覚えるのも、実は一苦労なのです。悪戦苦闘の末に覚えた一言を一所懸命なんども繰り返したり、自分の名前を片仮名で丁寧に書こうとしている子供たちの姿を見た大人の私たちにとっても、勉強になるものがありました。

そして、いよいよ最終日。「日本は素晴らしい！日本語は面白い！もっと勉強したい！」という感想を聞いたときは、心がいっぱいになりました。

And last week there was a 5-days-inteisive-course of Japanese language for children of 8 to 12 years old. I was chosen as a teacher and at first I panicked: what can I teach in only 5 days? So I decided to tell them about Japanese culture, give them basic information on japanese characters and alphabet, and, of course, learn such everyday frazes as "good morning" and "my name is...". We played as we learned and we learned as we played.

Russian and Japanese are absoulutely different languages. They have almost nothing in common. And even remembering simple words is a though job for a small kid. But they were trying so hard and they never gave up. In some way, I learned from them more, than they did from me. And it was very touching to hear "We want to learn more abour Japan" in the end.

モスクワではいよいよ「日本の秋2010」という、広大な文化祭がスタートするからです！毎年、モスクワの人々に日本文化を紹介してきたこの「日本の秋」ですが、今年は太鼓ワークショップや人形劇の公演、邦楽コンサートや、今年44回目を迎える日本映画祭などの催しが盛りだくさん！是非モスクワに来てください！・・と言いたいところですが、モスクワは秋･冬は非常に冷え込みますので、変わりに頑張ってレポートします！

But! There's no time to be sentimental, because... An annual cultural festival "Japanese autumn 2010" is about to start in Moscow! We prepared a whole new batch of very interesting events for people of all ages and interests. I will report on the festival next time and now here goes.... Cathy!!!
